Coláiste Bhrian Bóromha provides week long courses to pupils in 5th & 6th Class in primary school. Taught by experienced primary school teachers, these courses meet the language needs of the pupils while addressing the learning objectives laid out in the primary school curriculum. During their time on the course, communication with pupils is through Irish, and we encourage pupils to speak Irish to the best of their ability.

These courses provide pupils with a strong foundation in spoken Irish prior to advancing into 6th Class / 1st year at secondary school. It provides pupils with the opportunity to learn Irish in a fun, practical and engaging way, develop a positive attitude towards learning and foster a lasting love for the Irish language.
